The “Gitcoin Presents” NFT collection, created by Metalabel in collaboration with Web3 funding platform Gitcoin, has become the top-selling collection on OpenSea after it was revealed that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin was involved in the project. The collection, based on Quadratic Funding, a funding model created by Buterin, Harvard economist Zoë Hitzig, and RadicalxChange founder Glen Weyl, features a range of items including the project’s 2018 white paper, a poem, and physical prints signed by the three founders. The collection has already generated around 5,600 ETH ($13.4 million) in trading volume on OpenSea, with a floor price of 0.3047 ETH (approximately $430).
